Calling all Southern Arizona readers…
Hey everyone! We are still very much enjoying our time at the Salton Sea (our two-day stay turned into four days, thanks to meeting some wonderful folks who live right near here). Tomorrow, we push off for Slab City, before making our way to Arizona.
Our loose plan is to cross into Arizona through Yuma and head along the southern part of the state, through Tucson and beyond. If you’re along this rough route, or if you know of something along the way that we should be sure to experience, let us know!
And, Tucson peoples… we’re hoping to stay and explore the city for a few days and organize a presentation about our journey. If you’d like to host us or help us set up an event, send us an email.
Thanks!!

Woo hoo, you’re coming to Tucson!
I live south of town in Amado having recently moved from Arivaca. I could set up a place for you to present in Arivaca, but I’m not sure it would be a very big crowd. Arivaca Road (from Amado to Arivaca) is often biked by locals and Ruby Road from Arivaca to Nogales is rugged, but breathtaking. Are you taking the highway from Nogales to Bisbee via Patagonia? That is also an amazingly beautiful ride and not nearly as rugged as Ruby Road.
I will send you an email with my phone number in case I can be of any help to you while you are here.
Peace,
Chris

Hey guys! Don’t know if you’re going to continue on this route and head further west, but FYI we’ll be in Austin on Feb. 9. Woo Hoo! Would love to see ya there.
