The space itself is vibrant and alive with lots of bike art and bicycle lovers. Their mission is: “Through advocacy and recycling of the bicycle, the BICAS mission is to promote education, art, and a healthy environment while providing service and opportunity for those in need.”

We will be showing a few videos from our trip and give a slideshow talking about our journey so far and touring in general. If you do come, bring a jacket since it will be outside projected on a giant wall! Also bring food and drink to munch on.

There will also be lots of bikey things going on like giant photo murals being pasted up and a showing of Africatrek a documentary of a 1992 expedition through Africa by bicycle. Dr. Chip Thomas who was on the expedition will be present as well.

Suggested donation $3, or bring a can of food or an article of clothing to be donated to Casa Maria.

And… if you’ve always wanted to get your very own Bike Mustache, Laura will have a handful available for purchase!

Hope to see you there!
