Gear: Leatherman Squirt PS4
A quick video review of the Leatherman Squirt PS4 which has quickly become my favorite EDC and bike touring multi-tool. Super small and super useful.
Pros:
-Small
-Good fit and finish, positive feel
-Good selection of most often used tools (pliers, scissors, small blade, bottle opener, screwdrivers)
-relatively inexpensive
-can access most tools without opening
Cons:
-doesn’t come in orange 🙂

Have to admit, I didn’t think I wanted another multitool; then I watched your video.
I’ve had my Squirt P4 for about 10 years. Been in my pocket pretty much every day. I highly recommend it!
No can or bottle opener makes for bad bike touring tool. Knife looks iffy. I carry a victorinox Swiss spirit, high quality stuff. All stainless steel. Serrated knife keeps it’s sharpness far longer than straight edge. The saw can cut through wood, plastic, or steel. A little heavy and expensive, though.
Joseph,
The Squirt does have a bottle opener :). True, it doesn’t have a can opener, but we do carry a very lightweight Coghlan’s can opener in our cook kit.
