Protecting Camera Gear on a Bike Tour

We are packing up and headed out to take Amtrak to Whitefish, MT to ride the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road this weekend. It has been a bucket list ride for us for some time, especially to get there by train. So I’m packing a lot of video gear in a small handlebar bag. In this vid, I show a simple piece of kit that helps protect cameras, lenses and hard drives when they are in your handlebar bag or pannier. If you like vids like this and want to help support the channel, consider being a microfunder! For as little as $3 a month, you can help us keep making original bikey content.

This is la longshot but, since you’re going to be close (yeah, about 5 hours by bike), there is a bike ride in Waterton Park in Canada called “Ride the Red Rock” on Sunday, June 4. They allow only cycle traffic on the Red Rock parkway from 8:30 am till 11:30 am. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and wildlife (saw two bears on the ride last weekend).
