The Wind Wolves Preserve is located 30 miles south of Bakersfield and offers a unique cycling experience. While relatively short in mileage, the historic El Camino Viejo bike trail is big on scenic beauty. The trail was once an inland route from Los Angeles to the San Francisco Bay but is now a dirt road/ bike trail. Along the trail are different hikes you can do with lots of wildlife to observe, making the area a unique place for multi-modal exploration.
