The letters GMR have a special meaning to Southern California road cyclists.  Short for Glendora Mountain Road, GMR is a SoCal climb with European aspirations.  The road snakes at a very rideable grade until it becomes the scenic single lane Glendora Ridge Road which you can take to the Mt Baldy ski resort.  On a lucky day, you can ride the road car free (this happens fairly frequently because of rock slides).

In this video we lucked out and had GMR all to ourselves.  It was a truly sublime experience to have a windy mountain pass all to yourself with only the sound of the wind and your bike beneath you.  Come experience it with us!
