Of Snakes and Bears

Playing a little catch-up on all the footage. In this episode we finally leave Oregon, but not before having to climb out of the Grand Ronde river valley up Rattlesnake Grade. Rattlesnake Grade is a 13 mile climb with 110 turns and is popular with motorcyclists. Despite it's rather intimidating name, the riding itself was pleasant. You could hear traffic from a distance and it had good sight lines.
