“Panniers. There I said it” Russ – The Path Less Pedaled
One of your finer moments in my opinion.
My first thought when I saw this pack was Beam rack and a Dry Bag. Or for even more versatility – standard rear rack and a dry bag (or panniers). Both of these options are probably more durable, more versatile and definitely much cheaper than the Roll Packer plus for those of us who are really tall and have a lot of exposed seat post would result in a lower center of gravity.
It’s interesting to watch the bike industry’s attempts to make “bike packing” gear that might appeal to a larger audience. I suspect that’s the aim with the 25 liter model. More volume for a few more luxuries and camp comforts but it still looks bike packy. To me it seems they’re just trying to reinvent a wheel that doesn’t need fixing.
