awesome! incredible! how fast were ya’ll going?
Great video! How did you mount the video camera to avoid the vibration?
I wish I had descents that long around here.
That is the hill I was talking about! What fun huh? Don’t miss the visitors center very nice. The Palm Canyon hike leads to a beautiful water fall. Font’s point is best at sundown and on a clear day you can see clear to Mexico!
Loving it! Peace and Blessings…

I nominate the picture of the golden retriever for the July 2011 calendar photo.
yowza! what a scene. looks like a heckuva good time.
what fun to ‘be there’ with you! love the accompanying sound track as well.
It was great to meet both of you at Palm Canyon Resort. You dropped 2500 feet in just about 10 very windy miles and ended up below sea level. Its quite a ride!
I wish you the very best on your journey.
Woo-hoooo!
I am so glad you guys are back out “in it!” Just put the bug back in me!
That looked awesome. What was the song you used? I really liked it.
Now I know why you want to learn the harmonica. For those wicked descents. 🙂

Wheeeeeeeeeee! This reminded me of descending Mount Haleakala on Maui for my honeymoon…
Nice to see you two back out and about. That looked like a great descent! Don’t know if you are headed Brawley way but the dunes are really worth seeing.
I think we reached 30mph pretty easy, tried to keep it in check because of the load….
Song is “Rock Island Line” by Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee…
Using a GoPro SuperWide…wide angle mitigates the shake.
Thanks Shirly for the great stay at Palm Canyon and good luck with the new business…if any of you go out to borrego springs, check out http://www.pcresort.com
