Video: Setting up Camp
Fooling around with my Lumix LX3 and decided to try some video with it, capturing the synchronized dance of setting up camp.

Looks like you’ve had, oh, just a little practice with that!
Why not use bike pumps for the air mattress and pillow. Doing it by mouth looks too tiring. Just watching it makes my mouth hurt.
Love it. Very cute.
I second the bike pump idea, but the air mattress part was definately one of the highlights of the video for me. Sort of a change of pace.
Looks mighty familiar. I’ve a similar tent, and thanks to your recommendations the same air mattress and pillow. Love ’em both. Though you do settle down for a bit inflating the air pad. The pillow, two breaths and its done.
Oh, so adorable!!
I have to ask though — do you ever get sore or tired sleeping on the ground all the time?
Unfortunately portable bike pumps don’t work well for pumping up the Big Agnes pads. These pumps go for pressure vs volume. That said a new pump that Crank Brothers puts out can switch between volume and pressure.
So cute. I loved it!
hilarious! I just bought an REI Half Dome, footprint, sleeping pad and sleeping bag. I now know exactly how to set it up!
That’s really funny!!
Love the video. Reminds me of setting up camp. Having two to set up makes the chore easier.
Great Video.
The song is great who is it?
Have fun

Since we last talked I played with using a old bad tube and cutting it to fit the big agnes opening, but after 50+ pumps from the park’s frame adjustable pump I think “tdp” is right. they are for pressure and not volume.
I have changed to Exped down mat 7 this year. Fantastic mats and here is the thing – they have built in pumps that work very well. Thick and very comfy mats made in Switzerland.
