Some Kiwi Shorts
Just rolled into Greymouth today. It was a beautiful scenic ride that started out with grey and rain and ended with sun and wind. More on that later. For now, we’re taking advantage of some internet access and uploading a few silly Kiwi Shorts from the last few weeks.

The Exeloo has been in a Australia since 1994 and has over 1000 sites worldwide. I am unsure how long they have been in NZ. They are a great toilet, self cleaning, you can sing along with the music! Trouble is they seem to only have two tunes.
I like the Exeloo because there is enough room for you and your bike. No need to lock it up outside while you (go). There are about 3 Exeloo’s on my commute to and from work. Very handy and very clean.
When you have finished touring NZ come to Adelaide and to a tour of our loo’s!
In the same light hearted spirit, here is something to make you smile. I know there is some underlying justice somehow in this for cyclists:)

Kia ora e hoa ma! (=’Hello friends!’ in Maori)
Love how you’re promoting cycling especially in NZ where most people think a car is the only way to travel and distance.
Looking at your posts and videos has made me 1) want to go ahead with the once abandoned plan of cycling trip in NZ and 2) re-think getting a Brompton.
Love how extra compact the Bromptons fold and how you are managing to travel with so compactly but still are able to camp out, fish, take video etc.
Whatever the size though bikes are great and the more people who use them in NZ the better it will be.
I’m sure you are helping the change.
All the best to you both.
Kate
Those future toilets are excellent, if you ever ride in Australia, check it out at Westmead! BTW enjoying your posts very much!
