Review: Peak Designs Capture Pro Clip
I’ve been struggling with carrying capacity using bikepacking bags and have ultimately decided to use a backpack. In this video, I review the Capture Pro Clip by Peak Designs which allows you to carry cameras on your shoulder strap. Is it a buy or a bust? Find out!

I don’t use my Capture Pro for biking, but I do use it for walking around and it is fantastic!
It puts all the weight from my DX format DSLR on my belt rather than on my neck or back. Use a nice sturdy belt if you plan to do this a lot, I favor the Frequent Flyer by The Wilderness.
The Capture also has two ways to lock the camera down to prevent unwanted releases if you know you won’t need it for a while.
Walked all over mountains, amusement parks, Italy, etc. and love the capture. Since having it on the hip I usually leave the neck strap off, but if I am going to hand the camera off or want to keep it high on my neck I also use the quick release anchors from Apex for my neck strap so it is a cinch to snap my neck strap on or off securely.
Thanks for TPLP, always enjoy the videos.
