Review: SOMA Wolverine
The SOMA Wolverine in many ways has been the proto-adventure / gravel bike. A little ahead of its time that it has been forgotten in the stream of the latest and greatest. In this video, I give the Wolverine its due.
I review the Type A Wolverine 4.0, designed specifically to take modern tapered forks. How does it ride? Does it still hold up today? Find out.

Great video, thank you.
A lot of great feedback from users on /r/xbiking
Definitely on my short list for next bikes
Thanks for this review! Looking at this frame for a potential build for 2021. This was really helpful. Definitely planning to run the steel fork.
Hey Russ, great review! I got one, however the 52 was sold out so I opted for a 50. I stand also at 5’8, how did the 50 fair for you?
After I saw the frame firsthand I’m now not so sure if this would fit me, so I’m 50/50 on swapping it out for a 52.
I’d go 52
