I am with you all all these things: I use flat pedals, friction shifting, crocs (at times) (or as my partner calls them “crimes against humanity) and rim/cable brakes!
I watched one of your blogs and you were talking to another gentleman about cranks… to be specific shorter cranks. I currently have a Salsa Marrakesh with 172.5 Shimano cranks. The gentleman you were talking to stated that he was 5’9″ (my height) and you told him that he should try the shorter cranks. This got me thinking maybe I should try shorter cranks. My question is where can I purchase these cranks because all the ones I see on-line are 170.0mm or larger.
Thank you
Thank you. This gives me excellent guidance for my next bike. I’m 70, so there’s a chance that it will be my last bike (probably not).
